If you were to plot a route based on 0 minute connections then you're mental :)

my very 1st route was based on 12 0 min connections when it was 275 my therotical amersham start to upminster finish was 17h 50m or close

It wouldnt be exactly 0 but every station u ran into there was a train waiting to leave whether scheduled or not to where u want to go be mega that.

I reckon that most interchange stations only take twenty or thirty seconds to change in, with Charing Cross and Waterloo notable exceptions.

Sam also had a five second change at Richmond.

Quiet ends of the lines maybe, but there's no way you can change in less than a minute from a deep-level to sub-surface line in a central interchange in rush hour. It could well average out to 30 seconds over many connections, but I wouldn't bank on it.

Actually, assuming that trains would arrive and depart "at the same time", it means that you typically have 10-15 seconds of "door time". In reality things are not that exact, but statistically helps quite a deal anyway, probably around 10-15 minutes overall...
