I made a huge mistake at Elmers End - had 2 mins to get a 356 to Birkbeck when tram arrived - left station but couldn't see bus stop so thought I would pop back in to see what time my Tram was leaving and it had gone back already ! - So turned around in under 2 mins, when I saw you Tangy had just run past me and that was the 2nd time I had left the station
Should have just stayed on tram, cost me at least 1 train to finish, if not 2....
My mistake was either misreading the post that meant I could start at 5.30 not 6pm and not sticking to my original route after seeing mr tangy

Good luck today everyone! I had thoughts of taking part, but the date change made it impractical. I won't be missing the feeling of exhaustion tomorrow!

I arrived at North Ealing to be greeted with a service suspension all the way to Rayners Lane. Turning my route on its head, but I am very unlikely to complete.

I can tell u I finished all 272 at a station i never ever finished at in all of my completions.

But it was an experimental route no door positions no actual proper route just used principle of db not if I can avoid and I learnt stuff.

1. I havent done the full network alone for years its best in teams.

2. Apart from point 1 I felt clarity about decisions even though I made some mistakes due to inactivity and worry about timings etc.

3. Some things I learnt some runs might not be worth the time be light dont drink i had 2 bottles only with me and I sipped u dont need too drink u dont need to eat ur body will suffer for 15 to 20 hours using ur own body fat.

4. Don't rely on 30sec turnarounds from what I learnt no way at Terminals even though I had some amazing ones.

Completed 271/272 stations in 18 hours, 24 mins, 29 secs with Chesham missing. Could have got there but would only have been able to go to Rickmansworth on the tube and needed to get back to Heathrow T4. Time would have been about 19 hours 15 mins with Chesham.
