haha, most expensive? how is the tube challenge more expensive than the circle line drinking challenge? 26 stops x £2 per half pint (roughly) = £52 plus travelcard, whereas the full challenge will only cost you £13.60...

so tube challenge, say £13.60 + £10 tops for food (+ £35 for b&b. or you could get a lift up which costs nothing.) but yeah, £58.60 all together still, it is more, but not much more.

for the circle line challenge, lets say, £52 + £4.90, and even £2,000 for all the damage you cause afterwards being drunk and disorderly :P

You consider knackering yourself out on the tube for 18 to 20 hours is "entertainment"?

Hakan, I think you'll find we got less value for money than you; just 5 and a half hours for the same amount of money!

We could have easily broken the record but decided to go for VFM instead,
however in terms of time we got better value, whereas in terms of stations visisted vs money spent you are the winners

I didn't actually mention anywhere that I consider my attempts to be entertaining.

If I did, I'd be out there right now.

Is £35.00 the current going rate at Rita's place and do you get brekkie considering the start time?
Also do you know how many rooms she has there?

Cheers

The first time is always exciting. But for me, the excitement wore off until I'm now at the stage where any future 275 attempt would almost certainly be my last.

the single room(s) at nita hurley's cost £35 for bed and breakfast, dunno if you'd get a reduction for not having breakfast. i think they did before tube relief. not sure how many rooms she has there, though someone did book the whole place out once i believe.
