Your Most Hated Tube Line

Post by Dr Who »

Here is another pointless poll from me today
What is your most hated tube line by this I mean delays, signal failures 8 minute waits at station and so on?

I always have trouble with the Northern Line :x

You can only add 10 poll options :( and you don't get to many problems on ELL and W&C

I hate the Circle line. It's so unreliable. It's always slow and annoying

Northern for me, every challenge gets screwed up at some point on that horrid black coloured line....... :(

Northern for me too, although not because of delays - just because the atmosphere on it is so depressing and hell-like. It's deep in the bowels of the earth, and the trains are dirty and black and red. And they say "Morden" on the front, which is a bit like "Mordor". (I'm sure I'd find it a lovely place if I ever went there though.)

I have to say that I don't mind the Circle line! I went all the way around it for a laugh once, and it took just under an hour. There weren't many hold-ups, it was light and airy and quite comfortable. It must be horribly difficult to keep it running to time though.

Why is the topic heading "You are favourite Tube line"? Should it not be "Your favourite Tube line", ie without that blasted, ugly, nasty, disgusting apostrophe?

I voted Victoria because it's without competition the noisiest line, especially between Seven Sisters and KX where there are long sections of going flat out...

Hammersmith & City for me, annoying long waits on challenges, and I don't really like the colour salmon.

Victoria.

It's hot, it smells, it's boring, the trains are ATO, the seats are rubbish, I hate the backlit signs at Euston, it's all underground so it's not very interesting anywhere.

Nasty.

For me it's the Northern Line as well, it's screwed me up on many challenges. and it's also one of the few lines that I've actually used for non-challenge purposes. I used to be responsible for the Royal Mail account and had to visit them at Old Street once a month, it was always a very long and boring journey from Hatton X to Old Street, and the last bit on the Northern line was always a pain.
One day I shall return!

What's wrong with the ATO? I like the ATO on the Victoria Line because you always get a fast and rollercoaster ride
