I don't quite know what name to give it so I've hastily given it that one. It'll do.

OK £5 entry, first and second prize, decided on when the amount of entrants becomes known.
Each 'player' (i.e. entrant) is allocated a team -- there may be only 1 player allocated to each team and each player may only have 1 team.
A fixture list is then formed for all the teams before the season begins.
Say my fixture for the 12/8 is against Root -- and asuming we have Derby County and Chesham United (note the standards of the clubs are irrelevant).
On the 12th August Derby play Hull and Chesham play Hampton & Richmond.
The goals that each club score are then 'ripped' into our results list.
If Derby draw with Hull 1-1 but Chesham beat H&R 2-1, the score is jonny 1-2 Root.
A league table can then be formed from everyone's results over the season.
My Paypal is jonnylyon1790@yahoo.com, PM me if you wish to pay differently.
Include your chosen team in the registration email. Registration closes at midnight on 31/07/06 in order to allow time for fixtures to be organised. Teams will be allocated on a first come first served basis, with English clubs of NL step 3 and above ONLY. This is to enable easy finding of fixtures/results.

I look forward to all of your entries.

So how exactly will this work? What happens if one team isn't playing on a particular weekend?

And what's to stop someone just claiming Chelsea and probably winning the league?

Because if Chelsea win all of their games 1-0 and a lot of other sides win theirs 2-0, Chelsea will not win the league.

Think about it ...

if one team isn't playing then an alternative match will be chosen (i.e. their next or most recent midweek fixture).
The opposition team will use the score from the proper fixture.

Whichever of you is Peter Smyth could you please PM me -- I don't know who's paid from your real names!
In future could people please PM at the same time as paying, or leave a note in paypal saying who you are.

I'd quite like to have two teams - one for the team I support, and another one for a team which I think will score lots of goals.
