Cider and tinned peaches

Okay.

Any fool can write a haiku.

After a trip to horrid old chelsea, I felt a wave of relief when finally jumping back onto the familiar old East London Line.

In my defence to a friend as to why the orange line is best, I attempted to list good things that are orange.

I believe that colour related arguments are the only way to resolve such issues. So...

Oranges (no-brainer)
Carrots (roasted with honey which is also orangey)
Pumpkin (mmmm)
Harvey Wallbangers
Edam
Dahl (and other curry things)
Gerberas
Ginger People (my favourite type of person)
Fire (esp. bonfires)
Sunsets
Tinned Peaches
Cider
Lager
Donnatella Versace (makes us normal people look good)

So, I am asking you to prove your lines the best. Ha.

I live on the Northern line.

I don't think I can possibly claim to be the best given the shitty service, and that it's black and my actual favourite colour is red.

Piccadilly line: dark blue. My favourite colour is somewhere between this and purple, so that's pretty good already.

Other excellent dark blue things:

The Oxford boat race team
The TARDIS
Some narrowboats

Errrm... some of the poi that Chelle and I have made are a lovely dark blue colour as well.

Other than that... not much I can think of!

Green;

The colour of grass in which sporting drama is played out;
Football (England to win in Germany 2006)
Cricket (England defeat Aussie at the Oval to win the ashes)
Tennis (Tim to win at SW19 in 2006)

Green (and white hoops) famous kit worn by Celtic

Creme de Menthe (a fine liqueur best with Lemondade and vodka)

Crispy granny smith apples

Healthy crispy salads and vegetables (my main diet

)

The colour of most Lager bottles
