Post by Soup Dragon »

Ever wanted to travel on the Hong Kong Metro?
Now is your chance. The airline I work for starts flying to Hong Kong in November. As part of the launch staff are able to offer special fares to family & friends.
The fare is £250 return plus £103 tax.
Departures between 1-31 November.
Closing date for applications 31 July.
If you're interested in details please PM me :)

I've always fancied having a go at the Glasgow Underground myself, that would be good for a laugh.

The Hong Kong MTR is a very good metro system, with a reliability of 99.99%. Interestingly it is an originally British designed system, with Metro Cammell built trains (who built many of LU's trains).

A good chance for someone to go to Hong Kong and set a record then? I wonder if the good folk of Hong Kong are ready for a bunch of UK Tube Challengers to invade their shores? :D
I wonder if they have something similar to our "Bottle Challenge" I'm sure that Tubeguru would be very keen to find out....
