Following on from my first FNC completion, I'm now ready to tell all of you an idea I've had, a Full Network Challenge attempt for charity later this year. I would like to do this on Friday 7th November, the day before Round 2 of the Random 15.
All are invited, if you're interested in a group challenge for a good cause, leave a comment down below. Thanks!

Re: Charity FNC invitation
This sounds great; I would love to do it; but, the 7th November lies within my school term times which are unfortunately non-negociable for me. 31st October would likely be a more friendly date for those still in school perhaps.

Pre-Pandemic it was quite common for there to be an FNC event to tie in with either Children in Need or Comic/Sport Relief.

Re: Charity FNC invitation
I went live with my JustGiving page yesterday, route has been finalised and now the countdown is on.
I've chosen 'Breast Cancer Now' as my charity for personal reasons. Ambitious with my route this time, that's all I shall say!

Re: Charity FNC invitation
Update:
Rhys is around 45 minutes down thanks to District, Central, and Piccadilly Line shenanigans in the morning.
We got very lucky at Woodford with an off-timetable loop service that came from London and went straight through Hainault back to London (although I had to hold it for around 5-10 seconds for Rhys and the driver bollocked me for it).
Ironically it didn’t help because it was carved up by an Ealing Broadway train at Hainault itself, so only saved us around 5 minutes. Had we got ahead of that Ealing Broadway Rhys would have got a train ahead at Leytonstone High Road, to be only 30 minutes behind.

Re: Charity FNC invitation
Update: an incredible run between the two Aldgates has given Rhys 10 minutes back. We are now on the C2C out to Upminster (with a 3-min West Ham connection!) and will be getting District back in.

Further update:
Rhys managed an incredible run between the two Aldgates to make up time in the Upminster/West Ham area. He then made a -1 minute connection from District to Jubilee at West Ham (although it didn’t save him any time as it was a West Hampstead terminator).
We got to Stanmore (well, Rhys did, whilst I was watching buses at Canons Park), no 142 showing on the boards, so turn around and back to Canons Park. However, he had a 4-minute wait at Stanmore and just missed a bus at CP by around 30 seconds. The next bus arrived but got stuck in traffic and so we missed a train (if not two) at Edgware - he arrived at Stanmore at 1537 and we didn’t leave Edgware until 1600 - but another incredible change by Rhys (and I kept up with him this time) made a 0-minute at Camden Town for Battersea - crucial, as we couldn’t afford to lose 15 minutes for another one.
But when we got to Battersea we cross-platformed, only for the train we actually came in on to be the one going back out (4 mins lost). Rhys then got lost at Kennington doubling back to Oval. But it was all immaterial anyway as we got Bakerloo Lined. I went ahead to E&C and not one train turned up - let alone left - by the time Rhys had done a double shuffle along the Northern Line.
The one saving grace was the train became a Harrow & Wealdstone train, extended from Stonebridge Park, but that doesn’t help as Rhys is now 60 minutes down and playing with the North West corner - have left him to it!
