May I firstly apologise for starting a post with a parenthesised sentence. How dare I?

Anyway, the email alerts for this forum. Useful feature, but they say (as with most, if not all phpBB forums)

"This topic has received a reply since your last visit. You can use the following link to view the replies made, no more notifications will be sent until you visit the topic."

But this clearly doesn't happen, as recently I've got two notifications for the same message, and this has happened a few times. Why's that then Neil?

Personally, I don't bother with them. That sounds like a software problem, though, and I'm not sure Neil can do much about it!

Speaking of email alerts on this forum...

Is there a way to subscribe to everything at once. I.e. get notification as soon as anything is posted (including new topics and topics where I have not been active). I would assume there is a way, but I have yet to find it...

Yeah, that's not really under my control.

Email alerts piss me off so I always have them turned off for everything that offers me them.
