Let's say I was talking about Par station, but I mis-spelt it "ar", and my computer capitalised the "a" so that it read "Ar".
Without any other clue to its identity, would you know which station I meant with any certainty?

Yes, it can't find anything, so it corrects it for you:

Search instead for 'Altabreac'
