Underground Masker - Bakerloo (an original Maskerpiece!)
Good morning!
The Underground Masker has released a brand new magnum opus! This one is less about Tube Challenging and more about Waterloo, Bakerloo and assorted Tube things in general! Includes a genuine theremin solo!!
Download mp3:
http://homepages.tesco.net/houseofsteel ... %2096k.mp3
Enjoy! Blog it if you like it (if you have a blog, of course), and host it as well, if you want.
Only one more song to go before the Bakerloo EP is complete.
- Underground "Anthony" Masker
PS. Previous Maskerpieces are available at the following links:
Goodge Street Shuffle: http://homepages.tesco.net/houseofsteel ... %2096k.mp3
Master Masker (Station Master): http://homepages.tesco.net/houseofsteel ... %2096k.mp3

Hurrah! Well, I am glad that this one had a better reception than the Goodge Street Shuffle. Then again, I didn't expect GSS to do so well anyway.
I've updated the House of Steel website: it now has an Underground Masker page including Discography, lyrics and links to the available downloads.

I remember hearing one that wasn't all that great and certainly not a patch on the original "Stand on the right please", but this is great. I love the line "Pimlico, Pimlico, no no".
And I can identify with the song as I went to the snooker at Wembley last Saturday and decided to jump on a bus up to Wembley Central (as there was one there) instead of just walking up to Wembley Park, to get the Bakerloo back into town, and remember thinking to myself that the trains themselves are so much more shitholeish and rattly than the Met trains, and that the areas it went through weren't all that nice either.

Deadful? Dreadful, even? Surely not!tubeguru wrote:Yes, this is better than Goodge Street and that deadful Station Master thing.
I like the bit about "having a ... sandwich".
That dreadful Station Master thing is considered by some (not me, incidentally) to be the best song!
I concur about Goodge St but then, I didn't write Goodge St.

Stand on the Pressure had me in hysterics! It is fantastic!
Well, apart from the bit in the middle where it's just Mylo, which is disappointing. AFS, take note.
