Re: The Tube, Episode 4.
Good idea to start it early. I'll be sitting in the platform at Bridgend station, on the way back from Swansea when it starts.

Since we're sharing, I'll be on the A2 London-bound, somewhere around Gravesend. But I'm entrusting my Sky+ box to do the required storage for viewing at a convenient point later this week.

I'm watching it now. Just seen the bit about the last 1967 train. Sigh...I actually do feel a bit gutted.

Re: The Tube, Episode 4.
Quite good apart from that ticket seller who's more gay than Justin Bieber (and I'd never thought I'd say that)!
That last '67 stock, whilst I am keen with the '09 stock, should have been given more airtime than 4-ish minutes.
That persistent signal failure.... I wouldn't want to be a guy from Tube Lines in that meeting. It's their fault and nothing to do with TfL who get all the blame in my view even though they physically did nothing and just tried to keep things going!

"are beloved leader"? Tsk, tsk! OUR beloved leader. Although I believe Justin Bieber is, or should be, a gay icon.

Aah, Sky plus is amazing. Good episode. I was at church doing vocal training of all things when it was broadcast. I enjoyed recognising the 1967 stock scenes from Youtube footage.

I don't think Justin Bieber is a gay icon. Sorry to derail the thread, I'll stop now.

Re: The Tube, Episode 4.
It's been a long time since I've been in these parts, but I was so excited tonight I couldn't help posting. There was I, watching TV in my ramshackle little bedsit, and all of a sudden I'm thinking "I know that guy!" None other than tangy gracing my front room. Does he do autographs? Is his fan club taking new members? I feel famous now. (Sorry if I didn't recognise other posters...)
Hope all is well and all your delays are minor.

I recognised Tangy and Geoff. It was certainly different seeing the speach and hearing that guy shout "three cheers..." from a different angle.

Re: The Tube, Episode 4.
I spotted Tangy several times, think I saw Geoff in the background (leaning against the door?) but didn't spot Steve
I couldn't work out how the group of 16ish year olds got the pic of the train with the commemorative board on the front of it on their posters, unless they took the pic early on, nipped out to a shop/home and did a print out

They might be kids of someone who works on the tube, and has access to the artwork and the facility to print it out.
