Earl's Court
I've just discovered that from tomorrow morning (Wednesday 14 September) Piccadilly Line trains will not be stopping at Earl's Courst for a week because of the need for urgent escalator repair work. If you were planning a challenge during this period, you may wish to bear this in mind.

Yeah, but they didn't send it directly to everyone did they? You have to go to their site to find it.

You've never exited Covent Garden station on a Saturday I take it ...

Me and my uncle used the steps at Covent Garden one Saturday. Needless to say, neither of us were walking much afterwards...

Re: Earl's Court
Which leaves the one hidden emergency spiral staircase as the only access to the platforms, which is admittedly my preferred route down.
Many people looking confused at the gated accesses to the Piccadilly as I passed through yesterday, good announcements by drivers on approach to interchange stations though.

Re: Earl's Court
So are they not letting you use the interchange hall under the district line platforms for changing from one set of district platforms to the other? Sounds like you have to go up and over - what a pain!Edgemaster wrote:Which leaves the one hidden emergency spiral staircase as the only access to the platforms, which is admittedly my preferred route down.
