CiN 2011

Post by snudge27 »

What with Children in Need only a couple of months away, did we want to get some plans in place for this year's charity run?

I've two friends interested in the challenge. This will also be my first attempt. Would it be in one big group or in rival groups?

I was thinking of the High Barnet start Cockfosters finish u get a perfect MHE and then go round anti clockwise around the map.

that is defiantly different!

I bet no-one done that route before!

I assume that would involve a chilton train to amersham during the middle of the day

I do also have my special starting place to that involves as long as people can be alert for the first short run of the day and hour into the challenge a 3 min run but very short a perfect 2 of the 3 trifecta. The beauty of this is that the station i would choose to park the car is so close to both start and finish points.AND NO ITS NOT CHESHAM OR AMERSHAM.

Traditionally CiN day has normally been done in teams to give it a slightly competitive edge so I may take on Andi's team
I quite fancy the High Barnet  Cockfosters route as is nice and easy for start/end logistics and there is no reason that as many "rival" teams as possible could be involved and it would a little spice, especially if all leaving on the same train 8) That said if anyone wants to do Amersham  T5, Epping  Upminster or whatever tickles your fancy on the day then that is fine :)
OK to get me started what departing train do you have in mind Andi :?:

I agree with kev more teams the merrier as it adds a bit of spice to the day.
High barnet has a lot going for it logistics wise.

Pity there is no such thing as an N34!! The first route 34 bus to High Barnet arrives there at 0520...

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!
