Full Network Attempts to become WAY more expensive

Have just seen in the London reconnections blog that the price of a 1-9 peak day travelcard is going up a stonking 14.8% to £18.60 from January

I guess that's one way to make the current fare of £16.20 look cheap
P.S. No gloating from those who don't need to pay this to attempt a challenge please

I wonder how many people actually buy Z1-9 peak travelcards except tube challengers? I expect the vast majority of people who live in Amersham/Chesham would either have a season ticket or be using PAYG.

Except all the museums, where you get in for free.

Lots of art galleries, including the Tate Modern, are free too.

Just to make everyone jealous here, when I do loads of attempts in Summer 2011, I'll be 16 but I'll still get a child ticket, which I don't know if that's going up a lot or not, but hey it's saving me money!

Looks like I may not give any details out when I'll be on the tube...

But knowing me that won't last long hahaha!

I think you should just play by the rules
(Incidentally, with this talk here, I know that in the past some Challengers (I say not who!) have purchased both an adult ticket and a child ticket, operating the gatelines with the child ticket. Where would that stand here?)

I personally think that ok as they have actually spent more sometimes it doesnt even let you out of the gates.
