...ok, it's less of a quiz than a query. On a certain urban exploration forum I frequent a tourist to London has posted these photos that he took while visiting a year ago, but he can't remember where they were taken. Luckily (for me, having a shared knowledge base here) one of the pictures of the area shows an underground station.
That's the station, the following are of the surrounding area:

In the second picture down you can see the left-hand side of the fourth span at Paddington, which is currently being restored in readiness for "re-opening" later this year. You can also see the distinctive chimney of St. Mary's Hospital in the centre.

What looks like it used to be a railway line over the top of the station was, I believe, the route into the old Paddington goods shed which was situated to the left of the fourth span in that picture.

Those photos are certainly more than a year old. That entire area has been redeveloped as the Paddington basin. Were you actually saying that they were taken last year?
