Also £4.50 for parking. They might as well tip us up and shake out our pockets

Re: CiN 2011
Another thought on costs, I will be getting a one day travelcard but chances are that we won't finish until after midnight and certainly every possibility that I will be getting a bus back from Cockfosters
High Barnet in the very early hours of Saturday morning..... Will my travel card for Friday still be valid

Just buy a child off-peak ticket that is fine if your other one stops working as long as you don't lose it!MylesHSG wrote:and enough £££ for Pizza/Spare Ticket.

I don't recommend chocolate unless they're minstrels, and even they can go a bit weird. Something like flapjacks are better as they don't melt, but if chocolate is essential during the day then buy it 'fresh' at a pause point.

How much is the bus fare from Amersham to Chesham? (I assume travelcards are not accepted)

Re: CiN 2011
Buses in Amersham are indeed outside the Trvaelcards zones, so would need to buy an extra single ticket (unless you have a Freedom Pass). Information on actaul bus fares has always been a big trade secret for some reason and are hardly ever published in the public domain.
EDIT: Appears we are timetabled on Carousel Buses route A30, this corridor is highly bussed between Arriva Shires (routes 52, 62, 353) and Carousel (routes 4 and A30). Route A30 could be very useful as the full route links with another Tube terminus within Greater London!

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!
Tangy.

Blimey, it only costs £3.50 off peak to go all the way from Amersham to Central London by tube!

Or indeed Amersham to Epping, or any other far-away place of your choice. I always used to think about the disparity when I lived in Chesham.greatkingrat wrote:Blimey, it only costs £3.50 off peak to go all the way from Amersham to Central London by tube!
