What is the most useless piece of trivia you know about the London Underground.

I’ll go first…
green grapes are the fruit that cause the most injuries at stations.

The only station from which you can reach any other with only one change isn't Mile End.

King's Cross works as well, doesn't it?
The next station is Beary's Underground - www.london-underground.de

Not one station works because of Kensington Olympia.

That's two changes.

You have to ignore Olympia for it to work properly.

Meanwhile, back on topic ...

Two changes?!

One change on each - at Earl's Court each time; to Piccadilly for King's Cross and to District (Main Branch) for Mile End

Does anyone know why we discounted Olympia in the other thread we discussed this in then?

The Jubilee line intersects with every other line - and if it wasn't for 20m... so would the District line

You can spend all day travelling between Euston and King's Cross whilst only travelling north on the map

Covent Garden is a spelling mistake it should be 'Convent Garden' after the order of Nuns that used to live in the area

The majority of tube travellers prefer Cadburys Whole Nut... fact!

40 minutes on the tube is the equivalent of smoking 2 cigarettes!

So in a 18 hours and a half world record is about 56 cigarettes!

Bloody hell, I think we should all cut down a bit!

Oh dear, I reopened a right can of worms there didn't I...

Right. Baker Street can reach all of them, including Olympia (change at HSK) and Chesham (change at Chalfont & Latimer), at any time of day. I don't think that fact is disputed by anyone. One might think that the same would be true for the other stations sharing the Met and Circle lines, but somebody (I forget who) insisted that that wasn't the case, for reasons that were never made clear. Could it be that Met trains from Aldgate all terminate at Baker Street for most of the day (in which case Chesham would be out of reach from KCSP etc)?

Back on topic: There is only one station whose name contains all the letters of the phrase "DAGENHAM HEATHWAY".
unless you count "Edgware Road (Hammersmith and City, District and Circle Lines)"

That, and the East London Line...

i.e. High Barnet - New Cross Gate. Minimum of two changes.
