RailRiders- Zone 1 event

Hi guys, I'd just like to invite you all to my tube challenge team's zone one event to mark the two year anniversary since the group started.

20th February 2016
12:30pm meet up time
Vauxhall station between vic platforms

Afterwards, I'm booking a table at the flaming grill pub in Wimbledon Park which is famous for it's man v food challenges as well as burgers, steaks etc.

Please let me know if you can come. We're gonna split into smaller teams, and once I know how many we have, I can sort out teams.if you have a route, then please ring it with you on paper as you could use that with your mini team in this record attempt.

Attending - GU

Pre-challenge parkrun - Barking (Unless other parkrunners are coming that did Barking last time when I was ill)
Attending - GU

Breakfast - Barking Dog (Unless parkrun venue changes as above)
Attending GU

Route - I do have my own Z1 route from Vauxhall that I would like to use if anyone want's to team up?

Paddington / Edgware Road - I don't think there are any issues this weekend, it's later in the year?

Man vs. Food - LOL well I would win this easili but unfortunately unable to attend as have other plans for Sat night

Sounds like a nice event, but can't come along. I might do a Z1C just after Easter. Good luck eveybody attending and could somebody break the record?

Is Mickey not going to the post parkrun breakfast then? :D :lol: :twisted:

I have my own Zone 1 route (which you can probably pick from my attempts thread) which I plan to use. Tag along if you want, I would probably be going quite fast though.

Paddington is closing on the Bakerloo Line from April to August this year. Annoying, that's what it is.
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.
20½ Random 15 challenges: 01:58:48 best
That guy who runs those Twitter polls about tube stations and London Boroughs.

Can't make the 20th either as I'm putting on a railway show in Reading that day.

However I may be out doing a challenge the following weekend.

I'm up for this, including parkrun and breakfast, but will have to head home early after the Zone 1.

The Zone 1 will be a solo effort because I'm usually meandering around slowly after a parkrun.

GU, I've run Barking but don't mind going again. Unless you want to pick somewhere we've not been.

I think Andi is coming as well and hasn't done Barking so if OK with you will stick with that?

I don't mind teaming up for Z1 if you like, I have a nice little route from Vauxhall...

And I am also heading straight back after Z1

OK, Barking parkrun it is.

Happy to team up for the Zone 1. Perhaps you can guide me to a Zone 1 PB.
