if you're trying to prove a point by citing Youtube videos, you've already lost the argument.

We're on an internet forum, discussing a game I strongly believe was designed simply to troll people. If posting a link to professional mathematicians talking about a basic mathematical concept isn't sufficient, I despair.

Sure YouTube has a lot of trash on it, but the presence of the trash doesn't drag the quality of the good videos to its level.

I don't believe that this game was to troll people. I am, however, annoyed that the one time I post in the evening, nobody has posted again by the morning, 10 hours later.

Also, dismissing a video just because it was published on the 1st April and that is April Fool's Day.

You will notice that mullardo's score is weird. This is due to his crazy claims he made during the week and how I interpreted them. So, here is a list of all the "non-standard" claims he made along with how I judged them:

0.15 weed (loss of 0.15 points - not an integer)
one third weed (loss of 0.33 points as this equates to 0.33 recurring, which is not an integer)
PI weed (loss of 3.14 points, PI being calculated to two decimal places)
Two hundered and ninty three trillion, four hundered and fifty five billion, seven hundered and seventy seven million nine hundered and forty six thousand and thiry one point seven eight nine one three five weed spoiler (spoiler)
Fifty five vveed (spoiler)
3 weed (rounded up to 5) (loss of five points)
9 weed equalisation (loss of nine points)

55 weed more or less (valid claim)
35 weed and then some (valid claim)

Hopefully that explains everything.

That's part of it, although the rules thread also explicitly covers some recently-revisited topics such as Roman Numerals and seconds. I'm a relative newcomer, so my initial theatrically-negative reaction to tubeguru's post yesterday rapidly softened as I came to appreciate the previous coverage of so many of our recent topics for discussion.
