Hi. Yes, that's right. My understanding is that A Challenge's message reset the clock (and should have been posted here instead) and therefore you overclaimed.
I'm pretty relaxed, though, and will always defer to the decision of the moderator. Er, ...
First to 100000 in the 2015+ Tumbleweed contest. Winner of a few rounds of a diverse range of quizzes/games. Some decent times in alternative challenges as a fiftysomething who merely walks briskly. Briefly led All The Actons.

It was there on purpose as a invalid spoiler.

The only positional change this week was me (A Challenge) moving up one place (demoting The muleteer which means that I am now ahead of him for the first time as I was on negative with my first post and still wasn't back at 0 by when he first posted) but everyone who did actually post (except leamfarrar with his opening post for more than a month) scored over 1000. Moley scored highest this week alone for the fourth week in a row, even if it was only by 75 points (1 bell), but it is still surprising:

It is also surprising that this is his second-highest weekly score since scores were last reset!
As a little side-note, this is the fourth week in a row when five people, no more or less, have posted in the game thread, and the first time in this when the two week's posting people are the same!

My access to wifi has been better than expected - that said, I could have scored more if I had changed my time zone on the forum before posting! I claim 2 bells less by mistake because I kept the forum on GMT and was working out the difference manually.

Only the top four scoring overall posted this week (DavidC, moley, Going Underground and me) with DavidC scoring highest this week alone, and is the only person whose weekly score went up.

I mean the overall effect of the missed opportunity and the penalty !
Good luck with overcoming this minor setback
