Well I couldn't wrap it up in two stations, so I've had to move on to another tram network! (We could perhaps attempt to do all the tram and light rail systems in Britain after this.)
I see now why I was confused by The Orange One's last instalment - it was this line:
Jane looked up at the stranger, recognising him suddenly.
I thought "the stranger" referred to the stranger in the cemetery, not the man on the horse (who turns out to be Don/Lloyd/Dylan). Maybe this bit needs rewording slightly.

Oh, I meant to say: we have now done every single station and stop on the London Rail and Tube Services map (not counting the Emirates Air Line). Including duplicates, but excluding stations that don't appear on the map, that's a grand total of 763 stations! Quite an achievement.

And one of them has been covered 5 times!! I hope we've had our last rat for dis story...
I've just edited out the confusing passage. Don received a black horse in Over the Top, as well as some silver.

That guy who runs those Twitter polls about tube stations and London Boroughs.
I put him as a Queenstown Road Haulage driver because you'd had him abscond from HG Transport. It could well be a new batch - Don could just like silver a lot. If you're undoing that, you can change my line back to HG Transport.

Might want to change that to All Souls - All Saints is a DLR stop!

I think we've all got slightly different ideas of Don! I tend to think of him as a small-time crook. He's a difficult character to pin down.
Plot update here. I think when I do the final edit I'll divide the story into two instalments, so that each can be solved as a separate puzzle. How does "Travelling Light" grab you as a title?

I definitely forgot he was a family man until I reread A Story from the Tube. I tend to think of him as a polymath of the criminal world.
Travelling Light sounds good.

The only other title that came to mind was recently used for a London Reconnections Article (The Light (Rail) Fantastic).
Good names include Martin Scroft, Abraham Moss and Bess Esothbarn.

Good idea - I'm getting a bit worried about Jane still stuck up there on the fringes of Essex!
Pibroch is a type of bagpipe music as far as I'm aware, rather than the person who plays it. I don't think Bess's friend can be a pibroch, though he can still be known as "Pibroch Dale"...
