So Klose gets 2 goals in opening game that's a good start :D

But although Trinidad fail to score in opening game so do Sweden, so that predicition is already wrong :(

There have been 20 England "fans" arrested already, so my prediction for that has already long gone - I was wildly optimistic and said none!

Ollie, I also shared the optimistic view that no English fans would be arrested, hopefully there won't be too many more. Has anyone ever been arrested doing a tube challenge I wonder :D

Just remember with arrests at a football match, an England fan arrested for almost anything will go down in the stats, eg theft, drugs offences etc.

Could you be arrested on a tube challenge, how many of TFLs terms and conditions would you break? Certainly anyone being arrested off a train would put a dent on your chances, it usually takes a good few minutes of sitting in a station with all the doors closed before the suspect is found, one door opened and frog marched off, before all the doors open.

TfL have conditions of carriage - byelaws - but not actual laws. You could be prosecuted and kicked off a train but not arrested for breaking them, unless you break a law as well.

Being removed from a train could cost you some time though!

How's everyone feeling about their predictions?

I'm feeling quite smug about the number of sendings off - even though it's already gone past my estimate, my guess was the highest.

There's been nineteens players sent off so far, and some of you were guessing one, or five, or six! It wouldn't have taken much research to see that the last few World Cups have all wielded 15-18 red cards.

Also feeling quietly confident about Argentina winning it...

Not so pleased that I said that no fans would be arrested, though!

When it's all over and I have won (ahem), I'll do a full round up so long as I can get a figure on the number of English arrests.

How's the scoring going to be done? X points for getting it bang on, or Y points for being the nearest?

I'll work something out. I hadn't even thought of awarding points.

It's only a bit of fun innit?
