And, as greatkingrat has previously pointed out, they've got a lot further on Digital Spy:

A bit boring though, isn't it? I prefer our version, though I should warn you that the QI Forum (in which I also take part) has got to 1000 and is threatening to overtake us...

This was the version of the game that tractakid originally started. I seem to remember we got as far as, er, two...GuyBarry wrote:And, as greatkingrat has previously pointed out, they've got a lot further on Digital Spy:

You can tell the QI Forum that a bunch of mis-matched tube challengers are ahead of them.
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.
20½ Random 15 challenges: 01:58:48 best
That guy who runs those Twitter polls about tube stations and London Boroughs.

They started in 2009, so they ought to be miles ahead by now, but progress was very sluggish in the early days. They were about 300 behind when I joined but they've narrowed the gap to about 100 now.The Orange One wrote:You can tell the QI Forum that a bunch of mis-matched tube challengers are ahead of them.
I did think about having a race but I can hardly play for both teams...

Play for us then. You are the only consistent player on here.

I'll ask them if they want a competition then. It might be interesting...The Orange One wrote:Play for us then. You are the only consistent player on here.

No one there seems to be interested. Perhaps QI-ers are less competitive than Tube Challengers.GuyBarry wrote: I'll ask them if they want a competition then. It might be interesting...

I'm so pleased you came up with that! That was one of the entries from the original SABRE site, created by Brad Jackson in 1999, which predates the current site by several years. When Brad became too ill to maintain it the rest of us decided to "preserve it in aspic", as a little bit of history. Were it not for Brad SABRE might never had been created - so we've a lot to be grateful for.RobbieM wrote:The A1146 is a road with a bit of history. I see there's a forum playing a version of this game using images - they're up to 2579!

It has been tried ... sort of:

There are forum rules about the size of images in posts, though (as I found to my cost).

Re: Counting - discussion thread
I have always been against forums full of pictures, especially as some can be quite large. It's for that very reason that picture signatures are banned.

Very wise I think. Searching for obscure facts is a lot more fun.

Which means it's the product of two consecutive integers, I think - presumably 34 x 35.TC95 wrote:1190 is a pronic number
