898 in base 22 is 1II. Almost looks like 111 or III, but note the difference!

I grew up in Preston, the coat of arms having "PP" meaning "Proud Preston", so they say.

What you may not realise is that"PP" is also the base-35 representation of
900.

E904 was used to protect rifles, is now used as a binder in India ink, to strengthen ballet pointe shoes and as a low temperature fuel for fireworks to create the pretty greens and blues.

[I had to look up "Balhae" - it's not the Roman name for Balham, but an ancient kingdom roughly corresponding to Korea and parts of Northeast China.]

907 is the US phone code for Alaska, sometimes used to refer to the state itself or anything connected with it.

And, tying in neatly with the above, the author Doug Sulpy publishes a newsletter on Beatles recordings called The 910. The name baffled me at first until I realized that "the 910" is self-evidently "the one after 909"...

9/11 in the British Calendar was the date of the last Random 15.

Also, if this doesn't stray too close to Tubeguru's warnings, 911 is the American emergency telephone number. This might be considered related to the terrorist attacks though (probably part of the reason they picked that date).
