I hope the weather is kind so that your Fantastic August Race around the Tube doesn't become a Stupidly Hot August Race around the Tube.

Note: I edited the two posts that refer to a well-known broadcaster for two reasons:

1 - I don't want the forum appearing to endorse a certain broascasters over any others
2 - HT's obsession Sky (despite not having access to it) is amusing.

Just phoned TFL. Took a while, but despite nothing appearing in their system they told me that the regular half hourly service will be running. I will get a call tomorrow to confirm this, with precise timings.

The time period was quoted as being from 0950 til 2300

I also have just called TfL. The conversation went as follows:
- Is there an Exhibition service running for the British Beer Festival tomorrow?
- Yes - there is an Exhibition service for all Olympia exhibitions.
- No there isn't, only a few get them nowadays, can you check please?
- OK - yes there is one running tomorrow.
- When will it run?
- Every 15 minutes.
- Are you sure, it's normally every 30 minutes for an exhibition service?
- I'll check - you're right trains will leave Earls Court at 25 & 45 minutes past the hour.
- Are you sure that's a 20 & 40 minute frequency?
- I agree it's not every 30 minutes, but that's what it says here.

At that point I gave up and lost the will to live. The WTT says they leave at 14 & 44 from Earls Court.

Has anyone got any different information?

Thanks weather looks good ATM, coolest day of week max 20 and only around 13-15 in the morning, winds around 10mph... Still hotter than ideal but will take that following the last few weeks

You may have guessed this already, but I was unable to be part of the race yesterday due to work commitments. A shame as I'm keen to give it another go. Congratulations on the various PBS that were collected.

many congrats to all whom took part seems like all rostered and surprise entrants enjoyed themselves and a special congratulation to one half of team rhys for entering the full 270 club.

My understanding of the positions in the race are as follows:
1. Damien & Kevin: 17:11:49
2. Nigel: 17:12:12
3. Tangy: 17:13:47
4. Andrew, Glen, Iain & Rhys: 17:18:18

Geoff: DNF
Al: DNS

I last saw Tangy going well at about 9.30 yesterday morning, having started very early at Heathrow, so I assume he finished. Once I've had confirmation of his time, I'll update the Top Times table. [Now edited to include Tangy's time.]

Please update this if I've left anyone out or have got anything wrong.

I'll do write up of my day as soon as I get a chance, but I've got to get ready soon for a meeting I'm having later this afternoon.
