Just vote for 10/5 people. Put him out of his misery ...

I think it better to keep the two envelopes balanced so I'm sticking with 8/7.

How does this work if the vote stays as it is now - more votes for change to more in the first envelope than for the status quo, but the status quo has the largest single number of votes?

Former DLR 45 station record holder (with Glen, Andi and Stevo) - 2h:08m:57s

FPTP (first past the post) works by having a set number of votes that one has to reach (the "post"). This vote is surely based on a simple majority, with the possibility of a tie.

Or we could use supplementary vote, France style!
1 FNC Completion (PB: 17:18:18 with G Bryant, A Chilcraft, I MacNaughton)
4 Zone Ones (PB: 03:00:35 with G Bryant)
many R15s (PB: 01:55:48 with T Cooling and R Jackson)
11 All Lines (PB: 00:44:03)
Winner of the 2014 Formula 1 Side Competition

I keep changing my vote just to annoy Tractakid.

I haven't been following all of this closely, but this could all have been avoided by scrxisi simply TELLING everyone what the format would be instead of throwing it open to the vote.

As I said, I haven't been following this closely. I have no idea how you came to decide to throw it open to a vote. I have employed the technique known as "not reading the first 7354 pages of rubbish", commenting only at the end.

I have no idea what the implications are of any of the options on offer, save that tractakid insists that one option will lead to everyone taking the same route, and the other option will not.

Hmmmm, you changing your vote now isn't crucial, its what it will end up on that matters. I don't believe you can withdraw. Can I trust that you will be nice? :P as for winding me up, well, this vote excites me greatly, yes, but I had no clue it was you that was changing the vote so often.

I will campaign hard for my preferred option, but ultimately it will only make a small difference. Still, vote 10-5 for a more interesting challenge :)
