Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes
How about a Milton Keynes roundabout bus challenge... visit all the roundabouts by bus. There are a couple that buses don't visit, I propose these should be done on foot. My main concern is the low frequency of services...
Bit cheaper than the tube though... £3.50 for an all day ticket!
Why do I think of such things?

Re: Milton Keynes
Because you have far too much time on your hands and need to get out more?
Re: Milton Keynes
Quite a harsh challenge, looking at the map! Were you thinking about each roundabout having to be traversed in full, or just in part? (Not sure why I'm finding out more info about something I'll never do
)

Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

Re: Milton Keynes
Any exit to any exit on the roundabout if on a bus, standing/walking/running on the roundabout if on foot.

Re: Milton Keynes
I prefer trains.
Re: Milton Keynes
So do I, but trains don't go round roundabouts...

If Carlsberg did trains...

...then they'd all have bars?
Re: Milton Keynes
Actually now I say that technically loads of NR trains have 'bars' (psh. £4 for a half pint)

Re: Milton Keynes
If you wanted a Milton Keynes challenge, I'd suggest cycling round the whole massive redway network of cycle paths. Makes the tube map look simple.
Re: Milton Keynes
How long would you expect that to take?! And can I do it on a motorised vehicle instead?tpfkar wrote:If you wanted a Milton Keynes challenge, I'd suggest cycling round the whole massive redway network of cycle paths. Makes the tube map look simple.

If anyone's wondering, here's the map... http://www.mkweb.co.uk/cycling/document ... ay_Map.pdf
