Celtic 2-2 Hibernian
Aberdeen 0-0 St Mirren

Berwick 3-0 East Stirling

A few forum derbies this week, which have been reflected in the brand new league! Two of these came for MylesHSG whose Huddersfield drew 2-2 away at snudge27 & Tractakid's Ipswich, whilst his Wolves side were comprehensively demolished by Garion and W&C's Cardiff. Honours were shared in a 1-1 draw between Geoff's Tottenham and Jbom's Naaaarwich, whilst a well-supported Arsenal beat Andi and Glen's Liverpool, and GU's West Ham recorded an impressive victory against Root and Hopeless Traveller's Fulham.

Sam and Matt were rewarded for their travels to Leeds with a veritable goal-fest as Blackburn squandered a two-goal lead to come from behind to rescue a point, whilst W&C's Udinese Watford were on the receiving end of a 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Derby County.

Tubeguru's Plymouth Argyle recorded a 3-2 win against Northampton to escape the ever-dwindling club of win-less teams.

Whilst the fans of the quality teams on the forum got the weekend off thanks to the international programme, there were still a few matches in the lower leagues:

Brentford 1-0 Colchester
Walsall 1-0 MK Dons
Yeovil 0-1 Bournemouth

Barnet 1-3 Gillingham
Morecambe 0-4 Fleetwood
Oxford Utd 2-4 Exeter City
Southend 3-1 Dag & Red
Torquay 0-0 Plymouth

So a first defeat for Yeovil sees them lose their unbeaten record, and sees Bournemouth pick up their first win of the season. A defeat for Franchise FC sees them continue their winless run away from home, whilst a win for Brentford sees them rise up the League 1 table.

A comprehensive win at Barnet sees Gillingham go top of League 2 whilst maintaining their unbeaten record, closely followed by Exeter, who recorded an impressive 4-2 victory over Oxford. A defeat for D&R sees them edge closer to the relegation zone, whilst Plymouth continue to rocket up the table thanks to a 0-0 draw with local-ish rivals Torquay.

The forum derbies table has been updated, and sees SD, GU and Andi all move up, whilst Sam, Matt and perkyperky all move down.

Really? We're in exactly the same position as we were before the game kicked off!

Okay then!

A defeat for D&R sees them stay perilously close to the relegation zone.

Happy now? ;)

Well on the plus side, with Barnet still, somehow, in the league, there's only one relegation place to worry about!

OK, the spreadsheet is updated, but it's even more skewed now, due to no games in the top two divisions this weekend. It's going to be like this all season now.

Hmm... I'd argue that an imbalance in matches played doesn't really 'skew' the table, seeing as it's ordered based on average points per game, as opposed to total points. In fact, the more matches a team has played, the more accurate a representation of their 'position' their average should be.

Norwich 0-0 West Ham
Arsenal 6-1 Southampton
Fulham 3-0 West Brom
Man Utd 4-0 Wigan
QPR 0-0 Chelsea

Bolton 2-1 Watford
Brighton 3-0 Sheffield Wednesday
Bristol City 3-5 Blackburn
Cardiff 2-1 Leeds
Huddersfield 1-0 Derby
Hull 4-1 Millwall
Middlesbrough 2-0 Ipswich

Bournemouth 1-1 Hartlepool
Leyton Orient 1-0 Brentford
MK Dons 1-0 Yeovil
Portsmouth 1-2 Walsall

Aldershot 0-0 Morecambe
Burton Albion 4-0 Oxford
D&R 1-1 Accrington
Exeter 1-1 York
Gillingham 4-0 Bristol Rovers
Plymouth 1-3 Port Vale

St Johnstone 2-1 Celtic
St Mirren 2-0 Hearts

East Stirling 3-1 Stirling

So another week, and another round of fixtures. East Stirling recorded an emphatic 3-1 win against Stirling to register their first points of the season, and leave the ever-shrinking no wins club into the bargain. At the other end of the table, a 0-0 draw between Chelsea and QPR sees Chelsea lose the only 100% record in the league.

In the Championship, a last-gasp 5-3 win for Blackburn against Bristol City sees them top the Championship table, and show that Blackburn are the team to follow if you want goals, with 14 goals in their last two matches. Arsenal also hit goalscoring form this week, hitting six past a flailing Southampton.

Derby-wise, jbom's Norwich were unlucky to only draw 0-0 with GU's West Ham, with a similar result between mps247's Chelsea and al's QPR. Down in League 1 tractakid's Franchise FC sneaked a 1-0 win against Sam and Matt's Yeovil; far from the drubbing that Matt predicted that Yeovil would get in midweek!

In League 2, an emphatic 4-0 win for Gillingham sees them extend their unbeaten run and consolidate their lead at the top of the table. It would seem that even this early into the season, only a fool would bet against the Kent side lining up in League 1 this time next season.

I'll leave Neil to update the 'full' table, but the updated Derbies table can be found HERE
