Not really, no. There's been a lot of aggression towards him.

Reading this entire thread, it's not hard to see why that's the case, is it?
He wasn't a fan of the forum even before we knew who he was, according to his website.

I've met him a couple of times now - hes a really nice guy. I asked him if he had any specific reason for not posting here and although he does view the forum he would rather not be interogated by everyone on here. He isnt interested in alternative challenges, darts leagues, geek of the week competitions etc hence why he has kept his distance.

As for radio interviews. You hear what they (the radio station) want you to hear. It doesnt mean the the interviewee is lying. He is a world record holder. He doesn't hold the current world record. He holds a previous world record. But hold that world record he does. Smoke and mirrors but ultimately the truth.

Can we move on please.

Chris likes to move posts without explaining what he has done. The posts moaning about his quiz are in the quiz thread. This thread is about a confusing attempt that is, apparently, happening on the third of November.

This atempt might now be merged into a children in need attempt as they have put back 2 weeks to get maximum radio coverage of it.

Given they've put their first few intended trains in the blog (linked to above), I also don't think that they will get the record.

It sounds like they are more concerned with making sure he stays above ground for the duration of the breakfast show so they can talk to him live.

Makes sence since Rick works for the morning breakfast show.

Could still bump into them on the day though!

No Rayners Lane or Ickenham run by the look of it! Interesting :?

They all sound totally clueless including the woman for GWR  I will be surprised if he makes all 270 let alone getting anywhere near the current record.....
