I've also been stopped in Liverpool Street station as a young(er) male carrying a rucksack. Seemed quite routine, but I had to wait for them to fill in a form to confirm I had been stopped and searched, which I thought was a waste of time.

Did you have to sign the form, or did you have to wait for them to give you a completed copy? I'd've just said, "It's okay mate, throw the copy away." Just like receipts in shops.

I can't remember, but I think I had to sign it, and I think there was a copy for them and a copy for me.
