guest house for tube challenge
i need help with low cost guest house in amersham and chesham or upminster.

Nita Hurley's B&B in Amersham is a favourite among tube challengers over the years. Look her up on t'interwebs.

I've not managed to find anything suitable in Chesham recently. I just drive to the start first thing (if that's an option for you). I have found a good cheap hotel in Hounslow, which is useful for a Heathrow finish, which has the advantage that if things don't go according to plan you can cancel at no cost up to the afternoon of intended arrival.

I used the travelodge at barking. But if you want to start earlier than 05.34 this does not work.
