I met both teams at Rickmansworth and travelled with them down to Moor Park, up to Watford and then back to North Harrow.

There, I've given away the route now, so you can all go out and set world records if you like.

Geoff's having a bit of a mare, from his Twitter posts. Looks like Uxbridge got him again.

They must be melting out there, it is seriously way too hot for a full network...

A short terminator, a slow onward train and an not very good off-tube connection sees us drop to 20 behind...

which we think is about to become 40 :(

I think Geoff is screwed thanks to Edgware Road.

And a reversal for Geoff. He came in with 16 hours 45, but with a caveat ...

Team Scrawley-Brown suffered signal failure on the Victoria line and shot their load too early.

He worked out that if there had been an Olympia train then he would still have got a good time, because he spent 20 minutes waiting for one!

Having only just read through the twitter feeds, it's nice to see that one team was honest with themselves and everyone (although I would like to know how to make a -2 minute connection - that could come in most handy ;)), whilst the other team is content to lead everyone to believe that they have set the 2nd fastest time under this configuration and narrowly missed out on the record, whilst not even managing a full completion... waiting a long time for trains that don't turn up is part of tube challenging, I don't see how waiting the appropriate amount of time entitles you to claim to everybody that you actually did it though? I think Geoff's point is that had they managed to do Olympia quickly, without waiting, the time would have been a very good one for all 270 stations.
