Despite heading to London especially for this, in the end I was really pretty unwell on Thursday afternoon and withdrew there and then, wisely as it later transpired as I was far from right Friday morning. (Were the British Transport Police responsible for this in some way, yet again?!!)

As for how James got on, I do not know.
