Paving Slab Quiz #3 (ENDED)

Post by tubeguru » 13 Dec 2009, 16:30

OK, which station was I at when I took the picture of the following tile? Answers to be PM'd to me please (the only reason I published them before was because people started posting them in the thread).

Closing date is midday on Saturday the 19th of December. Good luck!

Ladies and gentlemen - we have our first winners of the paving slab quiz!

The answer was, of course, Heathrow Terminal 4, the tile in question forming part of a large arrow pointing to the terminal building.

Correct answers:

rhubarbrhubarb
Soup Dragon

And those who got it wrong:

Edgemaster - Waterloo (Bakerloo platforms)
GoingUnderground - Oakwood
jamesthegill - Victoria
Mitchell&BrownLook - Marble Arch
Starkey - Mile End
uefacup81 - Liverpool Street

The results table is updated and can be found, as always, in the "What's this section for?" topic.

Paving Slab Quiz #4 is currently delayed due to adverse weather conditions. Please listen for announcements.

It was just a punt and I didn't bother to check any photos to see if it was T4. I just had a feeling that the colour of the tiling was similar to that on the walls at T4.
One day I shall return!

Same for me. The walls and floor at T4 do look pretty much the same!
