It is my love for Sir Vettel that made him win at Monza, just like it will power him to the Championship this year.... :mrgreen:

It's looking very much like Button vs Vettel but only if Red Bull can challenge in the next few races.

As i said at the start Button looks a good bet the only real challengers are his team mate and vettel.But Button if he can keep the gap to Barrichello for the next few races he have to be number 2 again.

Well that was all very dull today and in all honesty it's all about the car not the driver..... Look at Hamilton this season :|
Twice former full network GWR holder and former Zone 1 Olympic and World Record holder with The Raven and Soupie
Tube personality of the year 2009
4 times Winter Olympic Biathlon Gold Medalist with The Beer Baron

I found it very dull, in fact I fell asleep three times during the race. Watching paint dry would have been slightly more interesting.
One day I shall return!

Did I just hear a forum user have a tweet read out on the BBC's red button coverage of the Valencia GP?

Or was it someone with a username which sounds a bit similar?

I thought so. I didn't hear the question properly but it was something about getting Massa back in the Ferrari wasn't it?

Well they can't use any more drivers now, so they've got to choose between two crocked men and a slow one.

Erm, let me just check the rules. I may have that wrong.

[... looks at FIA website ...]

From the F1 sporting regulations:

19) CHANGES OF DRIVER
19.1 a) During a season each team will be permitted to use four drivers.

So it's obvious - Nelson Piquet!

The full ruling for additional drivers is as follows:

19) CHANGES OF DRIVER
19.1 a) During a season each team will be permitted to use four drivers. Changes may be made at any time
before the start of the qualifying practice session provided any change proposed after 16.00 on the
day of scrutineering receives the consent of the stewards.
Additional changes for reasons of force majeure will be considered separately.
Any new driver may score points in the Championship.

b) In addition to the above each team will be permitted to run additional drivers during P1 and P2
provided :
- the stewards are informed which cars and drivers each team intends to use in each session
before the end of initial scrutineering, changes after this time may only be made with the
consent of the stewards ;
- no more than two drivers are used in any one session ;
- they carry the race number of the nominated driver they replace ;
- they are in possession of a Super Licence.

c) If one of the team’s nominated drivers is unable to drive at some stage after the end of initial
scrutineering, and the stewards consent to a change of driver, the replacement driver must use the
engine, gearbox and tyres which were allocated to the original driver (see Articles 25.3 and 28.4).

Or maybe he's just no good since he hasn't raced for 10 years?

He's quite shockingly slow. Looks like he's starting last in this one.

Well he is officially a Red Bull standby so he should be fit enough.

I'm loving the Classic GPs they're showing on the red button. They need to put some old races from the 70's and 80's on though.
