Statistics

Post by CrunchySaviour »

Following some discussion of Tube Challenge attempts versus record-breaking attempts statistics in Steven's latest attempt thread, I'd like to find out more about this.

Why doesn't everyone post their stats here, so we can do some analysis?

I'd like to know
-How many attempts you've done
-How many of those attempts were a completion of the network
-How many of those attempts netted you a Guinness World Record.

I'll start: I have made 2 attempts, 0 completions and therefore 0 records.

I have compiled the data so far into a statistics table. It is here:

Please note that unless you've got a very, very high resolution you won't see the whole table, so you'll have to click this link:

Excluding Tube Relief which I don't think anyone who took part can count as an "attempt" because it was for charity (WASN'T IT?), I have had:

Attempts: 2
Completion: 1
Records: 1

Not bad is it?

Well, look at you lot with your GWRs and your completions! :P

Seriously though, thanks for this. What about all you non-former-or-current-record-holders though? Or is it just me?!

I'm not sure whether I can claim a "completion". I made my single full network challenge when Shoreditch was closed but Guinness hadn't yet confirmed that the RRBS had to be used - so I didn't. I suppose technically therefore, I didn't quite manage the full network, giving me stats of 1, 0, 0.
