I should be turning up, provided that I can get my boss' signature on the leave request...

Hi Senji and other recent posters. Will be great to have you along on Friday, and I look forward to meeting you/catching up with you then.

There will be an award for the best team name by the way, so get thinking...if I remember right, last year's was won by 'Snow White and the Seven Sisters'

Which was an absolute steal from "Euston, we have a problem", clearly a better name.

Would it be illegal to run under the same name again, and hope no-one can better it this time around?

I don't actually plan to use it again, but I was just wondering.

Of course it's allowed - if you have a good, established name, use it! But clearly the prize is most likely out of reach...

Will the winner appointed by the organísers or will there be a vote in the pub?

As the organisers are taking part I suggest that as a non-participant I have the decision.

Just a suggestion mind.

The team name is just a bit of fun, nothing more! (I said an award, not a prize remember)

So believe it or not we won't disqualify anyone for picking the same name as before. As for who decides, it is in hand, but I think it was pretty obvious last year which ones were the best. There's not much chance of "Ric's team" mysteriously being awarded the best name. I haven't got a name yet though. Or a team in fact!

That's why I suggested a non-biased person choose the name :)

Yes as the organisers are all partaking then I agree Mr Tubeguru should select the "award" for best team name :D

Well lets hope for better weather (currently raining and very grey for those not in London area) and better service on Friday..... At present Circle, District and H & C all severe delays...... :(

It could be tough going out there

It's going to be sort of wet I think.

You'll be OK - if everyone has the same problems then it's all fair.

Thursday looks pretty ok to me (for the moment) - a light shower won't be a problem and 21 degrees is quite perfect...

I disagree, I think we should pick the winner by an International tele-vote

Having acquired a rather painful bruise on my arse yesterday from slipping down the steps into Oxford Circus (when I wasn't even running), I shall not be amused if it does turn out to be wet on Friday... :(
