There's an off-topic section if you want to talk about Tic-Tacs :-)

I bought new trainers for it today *g* Was sulking after disocvering the comfy ones I liked were £95 and out of my price range this month, I discovered the exact same ones at some discount village thing in Ashford today!!
Oh, and treated myself to a lovely hot pink leather travel card holder *L*

Oh, and Geoff, do you think it might be a good idea if us lonesome ones could make ourselves into teams before the big day, so that we can discuss route options and the like?

Still un-decided on the jeans issue though *L* Any tips on what the comfiest clothes are to wear, considering track suit trousers are a BIG no no with my, um, body shape *L*

Just a quick note to say that I passed through Canary Wharf (Jubilee Line) earlier, having been to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Cineworld (formerly UGC) West India Quay, and discovered that the toilets (at Canary Wharf Station, as opposed to the cinema - Ed) were locked out of use "until further notice" for "security reasons".

So if you were hoping to relieve yourself there during the run, you could come unstuck.

Cheers,

Barry

Blimey - what a coincidence!

I've just been to the toilet. It really IS a small world.

Meanwhile, back at the Tube Relief thing ...

Well

This is pertinent I promise. I'm not sure the "toilets" tube map is accurate - there are certainly no open loos at Finsbury Park, and if there are at Walthamstow I've never seen them (there are some in the bus station but that's across the road). Perhaps this wee map needs an update??

Indeed...Only ones I can think of at Finsbury Park are the ones on the National Rail platforms. I can't remember for sure about walthamstow Central, but I'm fairly certain that there's none on the station itself, with the nearest ones being in the Bus Station.

Similarly, the ones at Arnos Grove have been closed for quite some time, I don't think there were ever any at Bounds Green, and the ones at Manor House are outside the station at street level (if they're still open).

Cheers,

Barry
