You will probably be more helpful than the bloke I just spoke to on the phone!

The bus 96 is run by TfL but goes outside of the travelcard zone, i.e to Dartford, but it begins in zone 6. Would my zones 1-6 travelcard be valid for travel to Dartford?

nope, if you wanna go outside of the travelcard zones you have to pay extra fares, even if the bus is run by TfL. this is definitely the case with the 182 (i think) to watford junction, so i'm pretty sure dartford would be the same deal.

Travelcards are valid on both the 96 to Dartford and the 142 to Watford Junction.
