Finsbury Park is a holding point for southbound Piccadilly trains, although I'm sure they also hold them for connecting southbound Victoria line trains on the adjacent platform.

I waited five minutes to go southbound on the Piccadilly at the weekend and we didn't move until a Victoria had pulled in and given time for people to run across.

This was quite bad luck, we had just made a very good connection onto the Victoria line and seemed like we were clawing back some time when this happened. It was due to a sick passenger on the train in front of us at Seven Sisters. They had to deal with the passenger before we could move.

We also had problems heading up to Finchley Central, it took us 17 minutes from Archway to Finchley Central, due to a missing driver at East Finchley. Eventually when a driver was found the whole of this section of the Northern line was in chaos. The Mill Hill East double back took a total of 25 minutes to get up, back and away towards High Barnet. We eventually arrived at High Barnet 59 minutes after departing Archway :(

nice one guys.

Unfortunately I abandoned my attempt middle of the afternoon due to the scheer number of routes suspended that day.

I had just got onto the H&C when it become suspnded between Paddington & Whitechapel.

Then the Central Line become suspended then the Northern and East London in parts. Major Delays on Victoria Line by 1030am i was hour n half behind due to problems all morning and for some reason sitting at heathrow for some unknown long reason after departure time.

Then Waiting for a Richmond train at Turnham Green after a bad connnection at Acton Town just missed the District Line train to Upminster by a few seconds due to the train running slow.

SO about 230pm I gave in and come home. And was on my own :(
