Things are happening on Saturday on the Tube! Perhaps we can all talk about how excited we are about doing the Mouse Challenge.

As with life, people need a break occasionally.

There has been an awful lot of activity over the past three months on the forum - around the same time as last year (for obvious reasons).

Tube Challenging season is coming to an end now, with most people accepting that bad weather will soon start to hamper even the die-hard challengers in their quests.

We all look forward to Spring......

It does here too..."It's too cold to do a Tube Challenge" I can hear people saying. BS says I, I've done Carlisle overnighters in cold weather 4 times in the last year, I survived to tell the tale (although that could have not been the case after the first one, I was rather ill by the time the sun came up. Coffee and food failed to wake me up, but then I was exhausted from working in kitchens all week). Indeed, I want to do another one, but money levels forbid. Gutted, as it's Sandite Season!

EDIT: As for where I've been, I've been away doing stuff. Admittedly, fallen out of tube challenge mode for some time! Once the spring comes and I feel fit enough to do it, I'm after the full challenge! When it happens, and you happen to be on the Tube, expect to hear calls of

"UNLEASH THE FOCKING FURY!"

It'll be me motivating myself to keep going.
Unofficial Z1 challenge, 15th September 2006, 1400 start - Result? 3h29m34s. Disgusting! I want a re-run!

I was taking a holiday. So went silent on that front and came back to a rather quiet board.

Like someone else suggested, I guess a lot of people are getting back into the swing of school/uni and the lack of good weather?

This is starting to sound like a monty python sketch. "I used to get up to start a tube challenge half an hour before I went to bed"
