Heath Hospital, Cardiff
Has anyone ever visited the Heath Hospital in Cardiff (or known as the University Hospital of Wales)??
Just wondering because my auntie is in there and I hate going in there.
If any of you have been in there, tell me of your experiences.

Not a lot, at least, not as much fun as you've had with those hospital lifts! It's just that I tend to arrive at Russell Square slightly vexed at having been delayed by a few minutes coming up from Earls Court (this usually happens) and then I'm greeted with a nice run up those 175 steps, followed by a mad dash to Goodge Street. I arrive at Goodge Street and the sign says "First train - 7 minutes". That's why I don't like it very much!

Right I have another horror story to tell you ...lol
My nan injured her leg last year and suffered a deep gash down her leg, exposing the bone. To this day, it still hasnt healed properly.
Right. In February, my great nan fell down and was taken to the Heath. My nan visited her and she contracted MRSA.
Last month, my great auntie fell down and was taken into hospital. My nan went in to visit her. Guess what... she got MRSA AGAIN!!!!!
Dont you think this hospital needs some cleaning or to sort out a few things?
I sent the cheif exec a letter and should be hearing something soon (I hope)
This is a sample of what i put in the letter:
...I heard that this is the best hospital in Wales. No offence, but in my opinion, this is the best hospital in Wales - TO CONTRACT MRSA!
What do you think of all this?

Our local hospital at Ashford in no better...
Mrs Going Underground went in for an operation under general anaesthetic last year. The surgeon who was supposed to be performing the operation wasn't there and she was asked "what are we doing today"
Pre-op she was situated in a corridor with other patients as there were no spaces available in the waiting rooms....
After the op she was supposed be staying in for at least 2/3 nights and I had made plans at home/work etc to cover things during this time....
Well there were no beds available either so after having the op at around midday Mrs G.U. was back home by 6pm the same day.....having spent her post-op recovery time on a bed in the corridor again
Unfortunately the op was not a success her condition if anything has worsened and we are now awaiting for an appointment in Oct....
