It's usually if you have had a account six months or longer and haven't posted anything. You don't need an account to view the forum, so having one and not posting is pointless.

Congratulations to EssexElec (sounds like a utility company!). Any guesses as to how many members will be left after tubeguru's clear-up?Tube Geek wrote:Well, EssexElec (probably someone already on here) is 400!

Any reason for that? Have you calculated it as to how many will be deluded?Tube Geek wrote:357GuyBarry wrote:Congratulations to EssexElec (sounds like a utility company!). Alas, EssexElec's glory was short-lived. Down to 333 after the latest clear-out. Still a nice number though

Re: 100,000 posts on the forum
Time to revive this thread?
On 28th September 2016, tractakid made the 100,000th post to this forum (consisting of the single word "cheese"). Three days later, on 1st October, I noted that there were exactly 95,000 posts on the forum - according to the counter on the home page, which ignores deleted posts.
We have now reached post number 105,000 (check the URL of this post), which means that we should soon reach the point when there are actually 100,000 posts on the forum. But the home page post counter now stands at 99,829, meaning that 171 more posts are needed, assuming no more are deleted. I can't imagine we'll get through 171 posts in three days. Have things really slowed down that much?
