if the service in Z1 is anything like what it was like this evening you've got a nightmare on your hands.

I think the last Southbound train is due at Victoria around 22:21, so anyone planning a Vauxhall finish should be ok providing we kick off by 1900hrs...... But hey as mentioned above this is Friday Night

Thanks for organising this one Nozza, hoepfully you had a safe journey back to the tip of England.....

So your meeting point on the southbound piccadilly platform was a red herring as you headed off in another direction and didn't visit King X again

How did he manage that one then folks :? :?: and complete in a time of 3hrs 0mins 33secs..... Your route suggestions for this are welcome......

I'm guessing he used the little known Archway detour? ;)

Well if he went off down the southbound Northern (City) from KX then he could have done farringdon to chancery and euston to euston square.

Russell Square could be double backed on, or he could have made use of the Goodgell Street Square run or whatever it was called back in the day Geoff used it.. :P

Cheers GU & Dr Who for turning out I made it back to the west country early sat morning.

I will leave you some guessing but I headed south on the Northern line changed to circle at moorgate and then used Thames link from Farringdon to Blackfriars and not to give all my secrets away a Paddington H&C Finish.
And yes I only visited Kings Cross Once.

I do agree not the best Zone 1 Starting Station but it could come out of the hat on Zone 1 Day.

Well our route meant that we went throught Kings X 2 further times...

Dr Who & G.U. came in a respectable 2nd with a time of 3hrs 4 mins 10secs.. Having started the watch also at Russell Sq the actual Z1 time was 3hrs 01 mins 53 secs, which I think is a P.B. for me if not the Dr... :)

Nozzacook came in first with a time of 3hrs 0 mins 33 secs.....

A couple more times for you site the Jonny....... :D

A complete cock up as usual, our first change at Earls Court would have been superb. Needing an Edgware Rd service we found ourselves on the wrong platform and due to volume of passengers we could't get round to the correct platform to board the service that was there.. :x :(

This resulted in approx 7 minute delay.....

A Bond Street change saw us miss a Jubilee service by a few seconds and a 5 minute wait resulted.........

To round things off I got lost at Paddington, never having ran Bakerloo  H & C before and again missed a train by a few seconds... A six minute wait had to be endured.... :(

All in all I would say that Russell Sq is a pretty decent station do get a good Z1 time.....
