As much as I dislike this whole Amarillo business...

Yes!

LU might not like it due to bureaucratic filming restrictions, though.

Well, we wouldn't need to use a camera the size of a suitcase for it. We could use a small camcorder or a small camera that takes movies. I vote to start at the back of a Central line train for one sequence and then get to the front via the emergency doors. We could even do a parody: "Is this the way to break the record...?"

I'm (well) up for it.

It would also be funny if we got a few people who hated the song and therefore had faces like thunder all the way through. Perhaps they would represent the majority of commuters.

I'm up for it, but as I'm unlikely to be able to make the filming I'd like to sit here and generate random ideas as my contribution.

I'd offer to shoot and edit it together (that is, after all, what I do) but I can't help but feel that I'd go insane at having to continuously hear segments of the song over and over again, getting the edits down to the millisecond, allowing them to fit perfectly.

Though if I've nothing better to do.. Why not?

Yes! If we do this, we'll have to do it properly and record a new set of lyrics. "Is this the way to break the record" is a good idea.

For one shot, we could all be wearing dust masks!

Speaking of this recordingness, I shall probably be recording the video for "Underground Masker" at some point when I'm next in London - on a digital (photograph) camera that can also shoot short MOV files without sound.

I plan on shooting the film on trains between stations, so they can't have a go at me for filming, not that it would look like the person filming me was filming anything anyway as it will be an ordinary camera! Hurrah! I could even have a shot of me on the escalator!

And, because the camera can't record sound, and I will be wearing the mask, I won't need to actually make any sound, so it will be a very stealthy affair indeed!!

Do post whenand where you intend to film it - i'm sure you could get some 'tourists' for your video if you like.
