27th/28th July

Post by snudge27 »

Afternoon folks!

It turns out I'm going to be in London on the 27/28 July (Fri/Sat) and was wondering if anyone would be up for a little challenging. Maybe the Saturday will be out of the question - but I'm open to suggestions for the friday.

Any ideas?

The friday evening should be ok if you fancy doing a Zone 1. Saturday would be difficult because parts of the Circle, H&C and District are closed which makes a Z1 impossible. You might be able to do an Alphabet or a South London Challenge, but your chances of setting a good time will be reduced.

Hmm... interesting ideas there SD - the main constraint is that I'm going to be at the Scissor Sisters concert at the O2 in the evening so it'll prolly have to be during the day. I'll be making a very early start though!!

Well - I'm thinking of anything up to about Z1 length, so if anyone else wants to join in I'll be open to suggestions. Otherwise I'll prolly do a solo Z1 and/or a smaller challenge or two!

27th July is looking good. I have some leave booked already so let me knows your plans for Z1, starting/meeting time and station or if you are going to randomly draw a starting station...

Regret to say that I won't be able to make any events tomorrow.
I'm completely knackered after yesterdays full network attempt and will be working until 17:30, after which I need to get home by around 20:30.
Hope you have a fun day whatever you do...
:)

UEFA Cup 81 went solo on this and actually started from Gloucs Rd, not sure where he finished but a superb time of 2hrs 44min 21secs from a tricky starting station.. Not sure where he finished but hopefully he will post some details when next online.....
