And what does this potential partner get in return for passing over their research?

Yes, an interesting post.

I wouldn'y say that hating the Swedes was a good reason for beating them, but everyone has their own reasons I suppose.

I would suggest a different word instead of 'hate'. The original post could have still asked for help but with a slight change of a few words...

I would also like to point out that you do not start the subject of a forum post with Re:

That's why it's called subject - because it tells us what the topic is about!

Hei - puoli-Suomalainen? Sama.

Or, for the rest of you, "Hey - half-Finnish? Same here."

I don't exactly know you very well, or at all, and I don't know if you're planning to come back and check this... but, in the spirit of patriotism, I'd be up for helping you. Theoretically. You'd have to prove you know where the Caps Lock key is first.

PM me if you're interested.

The only Finnish I know is the word "Hengaillaan"
which roughly translated means "Let's hang around"
I only know this because it was the title of a Finnish Eurovision entry which was about waiting for a train!

Thanks to a fellow student being Finnish, I can say the following:
Moi!
Yksi
Kaksi
Kolme
Nelja
Viisi
Kuusi
Seitseman
Kahdeksan
Yhdeksan
Kymmenen

I think that I've spelt them all right :P

You can say them, but do you know what they all mean ???

Knowing only - Yksi, kaksi and kolme - I think I can safely guess the rest, right?
BTW Did you know that some 5% of the Finns actually have Swedish as their native tounge?

I'll happily provide advice about punctuation and upper and lower case letters...
