I was asked this question yesterday by my friend in church. I told her that to me, Christmas means spending time with the family, celebrating the birth of Jesus and being kind to one another.
What does Christmas mean to you?

seeing as i'm not particuarly religious, from yule to new year's eve (21st to 31st) for me is simply a time for reflection and moving on.

and eating lots.

Stress and disappointment.

But my doctor says I might get better.

I'd say a number of things:

- visiting the Christmas Market (and other places) in Bath with my smashing friends
- happy memories of childhood Christmasses
- going home to London for the holidays, and spending time with my family
- being reminded about the true meaning of it: the start of God's plan to reconcile people to Himself
