Challenge day Friday 27th Oct 2006

Post by Dr Who »

We are planning to do a 129 snake from Epping to Heathrow whereby teams will depart at the same time but following different routes...
Please see attached links for 129 snake details / routes...

http://lund.dyndns.org/palantir/Route129.txt

http://www.tubechallenge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=473

The plan will to meet at 1130 hrs westbound platform at Epping for 1136 hrs departure and routes will be drawn, hopefully we might have them all mapped by next Friday......

This will then be followed by an evening All Lines challenge starting at around 7 - 7.30pm.....

Anyone is welcome to attend either or both challenges.. :D

EDIT: Apologies, this is 27th Oct not Nov, looking forward to hopefully seeing a few of you then...

I think the only challenge with an age limit is the alphabet drinking challenge!

I will be attending on Friday as well. How will the All Lines challenge in the evening work? Will we all start from the same place?

Surely there is nothing wrong with a bit of underage binge drinking? Anyway they can always drink a coke, or won't that count?

Well I was going to do it sometime, and mostly drink waters, but I'm probably going to be over the age limit for that!

I'm in London on this day, and if what I'm doing goes badly wrong then I might just come along too, if somebody gives a starting point and time.

OK, just to confirm that myself and Dr Who will be at Epping on Friday as near to 1130 as possible...Like Dr Who mentioned we have to meet and collect a stop-watch for soemone doing a 275...so please wait for us we will be there!!

Having looked at this all the snakes follow the same route as far as Liverpool Street, so as well as drawing routes we will draw starting times also ...

Like Mr Tubeguru mentioned we have no age limit so look forward to meeting you on Friday.....

With regard to the all lines in the evening, the plan would be to meet up after the snake challenge and then head into Central London... I think with the all lines you can start from and station/line you like....depending on the time you may even have a chance to have a couple of attempts...

Then a final meet after that up to confirm times etc..... :D

I don't think we need to draw seperate starting times otherwise some people will be sat at Epping waiting for an hour or more. We will all have to split up sooner or later so I don't have a problem with us all going round together for the first hour or so.

You never know, if some people are quicker than others we may have split up before we get to Liverpool Street.
